This is the homepage of the nf_quota project.
nf_quota an ip-based traffic accounting project.
It contains of a kernel module, a log daemon and a console frontend.

Features:

• count the internet traffic for the hosts on your network
• block the internet access for unknown hosts
• assign the hosts to users (user statistics)
• limit the traffic quota for hosts/users/over-all
• easy access to configuration and counter values through a proc file
• data read from the proc file can be written back to the config file (backup counter state at shutdown, restore state at boot time)
